Default Starter bolts.

When I removed my starter, the long starter bolt broke. Now I need a replacement, and the POS dealer doesn’t have it in stock and could bring it after a month. I was checking out ARP and saw the following:
430-3506 Starter Bolts 12pt CHEVY all w/long and short 10mm 1.775 – 4.470 UHL.
Are these LS1 specific?

To answer your question, yes. (It includes both bolts). Give ARP a call though they may just have the long bolt.

A month!? That's nuts. The local dealer got me one in three days.
Any hex flange M10-1.25 of the right length will work though.

A month may not be that outrageous in Bahrain where sssalah is.

I would contact SDPC for a factory replacement.

Are you sure you didn't damage anything on the block? That is an area of weekness..

I'm sure not any bolt that is m10 with 1.5mm pitch could be used since these bolts are oversized under the thread and are knurled, it should also be very strong like 8.8.
That bolt has broken so I've drilled it and taped it, so that area is fine.
It looks like I'll give Jasson Cromer a call.
