Default Just bought Bassani True duals, what headers should i use?

Just sent the payment to our sponsor Vinci Hi-Performance for a Bassani True Dual exhaust that exits out the rear. What headers should i use with this system? could i make it fit longtubes with 3" collectors? Thanks -Allen

Pretty sure that system is designed for stock manifolds & cats. It would definatley take some modification to fit LT headers.

i believe you'd have to do some cutting of your new exhaust to get it to fit long tubes or mid lengths

it is designed for stock manifolds and cats for 00-02. with some minor modifications, you can make it fit any headers you want. click the pink banner and go to bassani dual exhaust to see pics of how i hooked to the bassani optimum length headers. also do a search for the original threads i made for the bassani tru-dual exhaust. you'll find pics of the system hooked to MAC headers vinci did.

I wonder why nobody has made a system simliar to this that would fit up to long tubes yet. I would think it would sell quite well.

It would probably be easier getting the exhaust to fit mid-length headers instead of long tubes then right?

maybe. either way you have to figure out how to hook to the headers. the problem with making exhaust systems to fit different headers is just that. there are so many different versions, it would be a logistical nightmare to keep say 15 different versions of one exhaust system in production.
