I have installed both and to be honest, the Pacesetter headers are better in overall quality than the Hookers. The tubing is thicker from what I understand but the 4 things that stand out to me is :

Pacesetter flange - 3/8" Hooker - 5/16"

Pacesetter o2 bungs - inside Hooker outside.

Pacesetter fit better than Hooker

Pacesetter is way cheaper than Hooker.

Pacesetters fit much better and are alot easier to install, the coating is good, the 02 bungs are in the right location and above all they are much cheaper......

We just received a large quantity of Fbody headers, ORY's and Catted Y's....give us a call at the shop and we can get you set up with whatever you need!

I had the Hooker LT's are they are junk. They made great power but, are cheaply made. Go with the Pacesetter's

I don't know if it is this way with most longtubes, but when i had my Hookers I had to jack the car about 4 feet in the air just to get those things out and in for the install. regular PITA if you ask me... go with the P-setters!

Another vote here for Pacesetters. They tuck up under the car VERY nicely. I didn't have to remove to relocate ANYTHING to install them, and the fit perfectly. Fit and finish are top notch. It was harder getting the old crap off than it was to put these on. Very well put together and such a cheap cost. Can't go wrong there.
