Nothing wrong with buying a used one, thats the cheapest way to go. Its also the what I did, I found one on here for a decent deal.

I finally got my LS6 by trolling between Ebay and my local F Body board. Those will probably be the cheepest way. I got mine from a guy who upgraded to a f.a.s.t intake and he let go of the LS6 for $300. Patience is a must when working on a budget.

For $100 more than you'll find a used unit for, you can order a brand new piece from SLP. Why take chances with a used unit?

I'll be spending the $400 with SLP on the brand new LS6 intake and in turn I'll be avoiding all the bullshit and hassle that can go along with buying used.

The one from SLP is $399.99 and includes the coolant tube and plugs. It gets no cheaper than that for a new LS6 Intake. Most of the used ones do not include those items.

Yeah, the coolant plugs and the crossover pipe are like 40 bucks more, so you might as well just get one from SLP for $400.
