Default First Break... Spark Plug question

Well, okay i'm replacing spark plugs and wires...

now i've got those taylor wires...
those stock wires have heat deflectors on them, but they dont fit on the taylor wires, should i be concerned? will the heat effect these wires?

Default reflectors

i think the factory plugs were denso but anyway autolites definitly aren't the stock plugs. and no it doesn't matter if you leave those heat reflectors off, most people actually leave them off. just make sure ur wires/boots aren't touching ur headers if u have headers or ur exhaust manifolds etc.

You'll be okay without the heatsheilds. Just make sure the wires are on there good - you'll hear some clicks if they go on there right!

My factory plugs were indeed ac delcos, but for some time (2001 models only?) they were NGK. I pulled NGK plugs from my buddy's 01 ws6 (1st plug change).
