Question ls6 intake question

I found a ls6 intake for sale realy cheap, but the guy described it to me as a LS1 corvette intake with no EGR provisions. My question is, if its got the EGR hole behind the TB port its a pre 00' ls1 intake right? And if there is no EGR hole its a LS6 correct? no inbetweens? thanks for the help. This guy wants 100 bucks for it so if its a LS6 like I think it is, then I'll be adding another mod to the list. Thanks, Josh.

Also, it looks like the number on the side of the intake is 2556339, if that helps.

The LS1 intake is flat on the bottom, the LS6 is not. I'm pretty sure on that. I think it is in a sticky.

You've got the right idea, just backwards. The ls1 intake is not flat on the bottom, the ls6 intake is. That's why they didn't run the coolant tubes underneath the ls6 intakes (not enough room).

Remember the Vette never had an EGR. So you could be buying a regular LS1 just with no EGR hole. (vette)

Look on the bottom of the intake. If it's flat, buy it. If it's not, run.

Corvettes never used EGR.

No! Corvette's had LS1 intakes WITHOUT the EGR Hole. It is an ls1 intake, the same thing you have not an LS6 intake.
