Default BMR lid

I was looking at BMR's website and the picture of their Xtreme duty shock tower brace under '93-'02 F-bodies shows a HUGE airlid. I asked them and they said that was one of their previous offerings but they no longer have it. Does anyone know anything about them or where to find one?

Is that photoshopped or did that really exist? The whole shroud assembly is completely different. Unless they did some funky stuff underneath that thing I doubt it made any more power than the common setups.

I asked the sales dept. at BMR and they said that they used to offer it. I know a couple guys with connections at BMR so I'll see what they know.

That was a replacement intake set up that turned out to be too expensive and not cery durable. A couple of our sponsors use to sell them.

I believe it was called a "Stealth Intake"

Yup, John is correct, it is a Stealth Lid made by PPO. It uses a Corvette air filter and specail, enlarged LS1 lid setup. An ex-coworker of mine purchase one for his 2002 SS. It was kind of a pain to install IIRC from what he told me. The improvements weren't much better than the OE styled LS1 lids.

John, I hope this is OK to post? It is a link to PPO and the stealth lid.

That thing rivals the Blackwing in $$, but it does include a new base/shroud so some of that cost is justified, I guess.
