Default Just installed my March pulley!!

Not a bad install over all. I was a little worried about putting that much stress on the crankshaft threads to seat the pulley. I got the longer bolt to do the install and I would def. reccomend Hawks tool instead. I actually threaded my bolt in quite far by hand, started to torque it down and at about 180 ft lbs the bolt broke free. I was like oh ****, I just ruined the crank.
I couldn't understand it because it was not crossed. When I pulled the bolt out 1 perfect ring of the internal threads came with it. I blew out the hole with compress air dipped another bolt in oil thread it in and out a few times and proceeded to install again. Everything seemed to have went fine. I got it as close to 240 ft lbs as possible using my legs! Seems to be lined up got on it hard and it did not throw the belt. Hope i got it seated all the way back. could someone give me a measurement like from the back of the pulley to the timing chain cover.

yeah its a march, if you search you may find it. look for a post by me back in about the end of may. someone came on here wiht spec on how far the crank snout was set in from the outter edge of the pulley. i wanna say it was about 0.140" but im not sure. prob wont help muhc if you have the bolt seated on there anyway.
