Default Running Without a MAF?

i wanted to know have anybody drove there car without a maf if so what was the out come?

I drive without mine and runs just fine. There was a noticeable improvement once the VE was dialed in.

Go over on the corvette forum and take a look. Do a search on "speed density" (tuning). There's a fair amount of interest by some. There's just been a couple of threads on pros and cons.

I run without a MAF. Click on my signature for pictures and explanations. Big power and smoother street manners with a big cam when you ditch the MAF.

I used the stock bellows and a piece of 3.5" exhaust tubing, the same length as the MAF.

Your car wont run without the tubing. It may start up, but probably wont stay running. You need a speed density tune for it to work.

so even if i get all the tubing for it, it still wouldnt run good until i get the speed density tune
