you didnt seach enough, i just came up with a few hundred matches on this. yes lots of people run it, if you arent gonna tune the car its a waste because it will throw off your A/F ratio. as far as the connector i dont know. IMO use the stock maf or no maf, with a new maf you need a tune so you might as well go SD while you are at it

what would i have do to tune it right, im sorry for all these questions but im farely new a ls1 engine, now if you talk to me about turbo regals well thats a different story, the only mods i plan to do right now are

1- long tube headers with high flow cats
2- tsp cat back ehxaust
3- slp lid (already installed)
4- 3:42 gears
5- zo6 maf
6- hot wire kit to deliver 12v to fuel pump

VE tuning
MAF calibration
PE tuning

If your doing the tuning yourself, after you get the VE in line.. use an LS6 MAF calibration to start out and pull out airflow by % by watching the fuel trims (or o2's for WOT) or a wideband and correction factor.

I just did this tuning a friend's car with an 85mm MAF and it works great, but with the stock calibration it will run pig rich until you pull airflow, even with VE table thats dailed in.
