Default Headers in Alexandria VA $$$$$$$ YEAH RIGHT!!!

I have a 2005 C6 and want to go with a set of LT LG's. I am being quoted 800.00 for installation of the headers alone. Anyone think this is high? If so let me know .. I am in the northern virginia area and if someone knows how to install them I would float you a couple hundred bucks to help me out. I have access to a lift on the Army Post... thanks!

That sounds ridiculously high to me. Do the headers yourself especially since you have access to a lift...that makes it much easier. I did the headers on my T/A using the lift on base in San Diego and the whole process took me about 4 1/2 hours. Save the cash and do it yourself. The main reason they're charging that much is because its a corvette and they think it's alright to rape Vette owners.

Do it your self. A lift makes it 10 times easier.

That's about twice what it should be.

$895 for a dyno tune and header install is pretty reasonable if you want to squeeze out the max power from just the headers. The only problem is if you get other significant mods down the road then you would want to tune it again...more $$.

Thats the best thing, upgrades are either free or very inexpensive.

I agree...mine cost me less than 1/2 that, including the install of the TSP duals...
