Connecting the Electrical portion of a Cutout
I bought a car with an electric cutout which did not have the electrical portion of it hooked up. I have the wires and switch - the guy said he didnt have any time to install it -.
I dont have instructions and was wondering if it was easy to install with the battery or if that is too much voltage?
It is a QTP Electrical cutout. TIA.

I connected the red wire to my radio fuse (switched power source) and for the ground the black wire off the cig lighter. You can also use the pink wire behind the TCS switch for power. I have their instructions if you need more info.

The switch side of the cable has a connector - plugs into the connector coming off the plate/motor, routed into the car through the grommet under the rear seat. All you need is a power source and a ground connection to the wires coming off the switch - you'll have to extend the wires with a butt splice.
