Default Muffler Replacement

Current setup is Kooks LTs w/ catted Y through a Corsa. I'm not really fond of the sound (not bad, just looking for something else) and would like to swap out the muffler. Does anyone sell a muffler that is a direct bolt-in replacement that offers a deeper sound? Is the muffler size more of a universal thing or do I need to measure the corsa and look for a like sized muffler? The Corsa is a 3" in and dual 3" out correct?

It'd probably be easier and no more expensive to just get another catback and flog the Corsa.

Magnaflow is the way to go IMHO. Nice rumble at idle but screams at WOT. No drone also.

Go Hooker Aerochamber. It what I got & love it. I gets deeper the longer you have it also. I'm about to add a 3" TSP ORY & Pacesetter LT's(race style). The Hooker is very tame at low RPM & idle, but screams at WOT. I have had nothing but compliments. Can'twait to hear it after the LT's.

Go check out www.ls1sounds.com

I'd also reccomend either a Magnaflow muffler or just a new Magnaflow catback.

From the experiences I've had with LS1s and the distinct sounds they make, the Magnaflow products have always had one of the deepest tones on them. It's a very low rumble.

Does Magnaflow sell a muffler that will bolt in? I haven't measured the Corsa muffler but I assume its a 3"/3" inlet/dual outlet.

I recently replaced my broken Corsa muffler with the Hooker Aerochamber muffler. It's a very nice deep mellow sound and roars at WOT! Best part is the muffler was $80 and has alot more quality than the $$ Corsa muffler ever had.

I love my magnaflow, even though it may be a little tame for me now with the CME which really quiets things down. Still screams at WOT though.

Thanks for the inputs guys, I would like to get a magnaflow but I'm not sure if they sell a bolt-in replacement.

I had a magnaflow catback for a little while and it was really awesome--Magnaflow is the badass of badass I'd say--huge deepness on idle sound and big time roar at pedal to the metal LOL. It gets my vote in more ways than one....Magnaflow it is....
