I've had both flo-pro twisters & sweet thunders on my dual set up, but neither of those came close to the sound of the 1 chamber flowmasters that I'm running now... Absolutely love it!

Bullets! They growl when your're creeping around like you wouldn't believe. Then the **** hits the fan when the pedal hits the floor.

A turndown is a short tip u weld on to your muffler & yes that is what I have on my car... Here is a pic from LS1sounds website, showing the almost exact same set-up I'm running... Notice the tips turned down before the rear axle... If you want a throaty non-raspy mean as hell sound, then get these.

Mike

If you're looking for a smoother sound, find some small mufflers that will fit on there. Magnaflow and Flowmaster (NOT the 80-series) are two that come to mind.

Bullets give a meaner and more throaty sound with a hint of rasp to them. They are the most commonly used and flow the best.

Sweet Thunders would be raspy, but they have a great tone to them and scream at WOT. Just all depends on what you're looking for.

Bullets quiet? I heard they were one of the loudest muffler out there!

My TSP Rumbler X will be here Monday. I chose the bullets, I wanted a loud, ferocious sound and from what I heard from everyone, thats what the bullets sound like. Now, I've heard Sweet Thunders on the TSP Rumbler X in person on an 2002 Z/28, and they sounded good, but really not that great IMO. They are really really deep and sound kind of toneless until you hit around 5,000 RPMs.... just a deep note with not much definition to the tone. Now, I know alot of people love the tone of the Sweet Thunders, but I personally don't care for it that much. Thats just my opinion on the Sweet Thunders. I've never heard the 1 chambers but I'm yet to hear anything but great things about them. But, I'm looking forward to my bullets . I say go with the bullets !
