Go back to GM and get a set of manifold gaskets they are MLS stainless and fit up to a 1 3/4 header lick a glove. Also they are not that expensive.

Yea, just get new stock ones. I have had two different ls1 cars with LT's and used stock gaskets on both, worked great. I got mine from local dealer for $16 each. You can get them for less online if you want to wait for shipping.

The gasket in question is made up of 3 pieces of stainless steel and pressed together at each end and in the middle. That is going to be your best bet for sealing your headers.
