Electric Cutout
Soon I'll be putting on MAC middies and an ORY. How easy would it be to put in an electric cutout as well? How much? Would it still work with my magnaflow cat back?

www.ls1sounds.com has a great sound archive where people post thier exhaust in video or audio. I'd advise to check there.
As for How much, find the QTP website in the sponsor list and check their prices.
Can't help ya on the installation question or if its worth it when you have an aftermarket catback. You might see minimal gains with the cut out open over closed if you have an aftermarket catback, maybe more since you did Headers and the ORY.

you think that would be easier? i just liked the idea of running open headers whenever i wanted.
How much would i true dual set up cost? I was already planning on getting headers. I would just have to buy an X pipe right?

I had a TSP Electric Cutout with my MAC's and a Flowmaster Catback. The cutout was in the I pipe before the muffler. I LOVED IT! I generally left it open because I like it loud, and it sounded great. But it was also convienent because I could quiet things down a bit when driving through my residental neighborhood.
I never did any testing at the track to see if it was faster with it open, but the sound alone was enough reason to do it.
