The dealership if you trust them to not gouge you...otherwise, SDPC (sponsor on here) or Fred Beans (sponsor on LS2). I've had great luck with both.

I left mine on the car. All you need to do is clean up the underside of your ls6 intake and it'll fit fine. There are some small casting lines that can be filed down with a simple sander or exacto knife.

TSP, would be were I got it from paid 36.00 for them, I would definatley buy the new lines, for 36.00, it is not worth grinding and sanding, and fitting, and doing that routine muliple times to get it to fit, I know my time is worth more than 36.00 dollars.

It took me less than 10 minutes to do it to fit flush. Ten minutes vs. $36???

That's a cost of $216/hour of labor, and I don't know about you, but I don't make that much. $36 can buy two cases of beer.

not bashing, but with my luck it would take all night to get it to fit properly, so I guess your right it is not worth my time, also there is a reason the put them on, you are probably heating your intake charge. but to each his own.

Hey, whatever works for you. It's really not a lot of work, and the amount of heat going through there is so neglible.

Isn't there a thread about the newer coolant lines not being good for the engines anyways???

I did this to my LS6 intake with a dremel. Took about 6 hours to replace intake & injectors w/grinding down the tabs under the intake included.

Am I looking at it wrong or is there a lot to dremel???

I put double sided tape on the coolant lines, put the manifold on and then pulled it off with the tape stuck to the bottom...

Sure seems like there will be a lot of grinding... just checking to make sure...

After the grinding did you have to do anything else?

Thanks!

P.S. You have a PM as well !
