Hi, I have a 1998 Z28 and one of my "clasps" or metal locks that hold down the air box lid has fallen off, so now I only have one holding the lid on. I lost it within the frame of my car and is impossible to get out.Does anyone know where I can get a replacement because i dont think its safe to only have one.... Thanks in advance

Should be able to get them from the dealer - I have PN 25043286 written down - doublechceck before ordering.

Thankyou! The lid is still closed with only one clasp do you think its a necessity?

I'd go ahead and get some - checked the PN at gmpartsdirect and GM list is only a couple bucks for a PKG of 6 - sounds like a bargain. Wouldn't worry about driving the car until they come in. BTW, I know what it's like to lose stuff in the frame, I have an 8MM wrench somewhere on my passenger side I dropped replacing my battery.

Teh LS1 is liable to suck a reflector off the road if that lid comes off.....

lol thats funny I went ahead and ordered some from SLP unfortunately they want a minimum $25 purchase So i also ordered a Air Temp Module.
