Default Which Exhaust,4inch Mufflex or TSP 3inch Duals with 2 chamber 40 series dumped

I have the Texas Speed True Duals 3inch x-Pipe with Bullets dumped. My car just sounds loud to me, I want the car to have that deep tone when I jump on it.

Should I keep the True dual & just change to 2 chamber 40 series Flowmaster dumped. Or just trade out to the 4inch Mufflex,

I want a deeper meaner tone like a 5.0 sounds.

You are not going to get much deeper than dumped bullets lol. Have you ever stood behind your car and had someone drive around in it? You'd probably **** yourself.

If you're shooting for mustang sound, it's time to throw in the towel with an LS1. Crappy sound is the price we pay for being able to stroke the **** out of most of them.

That Mufflex will be overkill for your setup. Unless you are a turbo'd motor, I would stick to 3".

Thanks guys, for the info. I might try some One Chamber Flows & see how it sounds.

You'd have a hell of a time fitting 40 series flowmasters without beating the hell out of the floorboards. Have you considered 10 series single chambers? They'll give you the sound you're looking for. Biased?....maybe a little.

Do they still have the Flowmaster sound. I know that sounds like the commecial. But I like the sounds of the baffled mufflers & theirs just plain sound mean. But after seeing your sig. I see you have them, Anyway you have a sound clip of your exhaust. Because your setup is the same as mine except I have bullets

I think if you got the Spiral Flows you would be surprised how much it had that 5.0 sound you are looking for at part throttle. Now an LS1 at WOT just gets nasty.
