The loudmouth 1 is less restrictive, therefore it is louder and supposed to make more power. I have a LM 1 and it sounds sick, just dont add headers or highflow cats to it, or it will sound like ***. http://www.slponline.com/modular_exhaust.asp
Go to that, on the bottom there is 3 pictures of SLP three mufflers, just put the the arrow of your mouse over them, and it shows what the mufflers look like on the inside, that should give you an idea

Personally I'd go for the LM1, it's Louder and IMO nicer. If you don't then like it you can swap the muffler out. Although it'd be cheaper to replace it with a muffler from Magnalfow or Borla and arguably better sounding than the LM2 muffler.
Lt headers are fine, but IMO I would advise running CATS with the LM as it will improve the sound quality. High flow cats won't cost you any HP either.

The LM1 uses a resonator instead of a muffler..........very loud. The LM2 uses a bullet muffler........It's loud, but not a obnoxious as the LM1. I bought a LM1 and didn't like it. It depends on your personal preference.

it says its a muffler for the loudmouth 2 but it has no baffles inside as a muffler would, there is no restriction threw the "muffler" and should be considered a resignator in my mind

Well....im goin to have LT with ORY and cutout always open...my buddy has a T/A and thats what he has...ist ridiculously loud at hard acceleration, but if he drives slow, theres not enough pressure to push the exhaust out the cutout and it just flows throughout the exhaust....IMO it wouldnt be too loud...but thats jsut me lol
