Default BG Ram air question

I am getting the bg ram air and I would like to know if I really need the rain blocker and the gasket, and what is the nostril corner. Thanks

you dont need the rain blocker,the gasket you do need,and the corner pieces are like little trim pieces to clean up the screw holes if you leave the honeycomb pieces out of your hood.By the way where are you getting it from.

I am getting it from speed. Is there somewere else or a better kit?

The BG kit is no longer made, it stopped almost a year ago. If you look at Speed's site, the price is "N/A" meaning they do not have the core of the BG.

Thats the thing,no one has any of them,the guy that made them stopped making them,why i am not sure because its a damn nice piece and was not cheap,so i dont think it was a money issue,but a time issue.

It is cheaper to go with the airlid but I believe the volant intake will actually seal to your hood giving you some of the same effect as the BGRA once you remove the baffles in the hood.
