QTP headers installed ( clip added )
Finally got my QTP headers, 3" catted Y, and GMMG catback installed. Glad I waited until I had access to a lift! Only had to remove the oil filter and drain plug to get the drivers side in. Pass. side slid right in, real tight on clearance to the K member. I've only got about .025" doesn't seem to hit or rub, but I have only put on about 30 miles. Got about 4" of ground clearance, Y still needs some adjusting? Going to go see an exhaust guy to weld on my tips maybe he can help. Took 7 hours for the headers, first time on a 4th gen, and 1 1/2 hours for the rest mostly trying to adj. the Y.
As those who have the same set up know the sound is magnificent
I'll try to post a video clip this weekend.

I have some QTP headers ordered and a dual cutout y waiting for them. The y I have seems to have all sorts of adjustability so you should be able to get it up nice and tight. Post up how it works out and what needs to be done to get your ground clearance back.

I just did some, and posted about it. I can' t say that I believe it is in the cars, or, that they have changed the problems, BUT, I can say that I had the same problem with the crossmember on a brand new set, from a new batch, as I had from a batch early in the year. Only problem was grinding the K-member, BUT, it doesn' t seem to be in a critical area, so whatever...
The y-pipe was a bear, probably only due to the SLP SFCs. I had the problem on both cars, but both had the SLPs, so, otherwise, your clearance sounds really good.
I would recommend that you take a couple hard left turns, on the throttle, from a stop, so make sure it' s not rubbing. If not though, great!
Congrats'.

I just installed a set of QTPs in my car last month. I went with an offroad Y and it does leak a bit. I'll be getting it welded next week. I'm curious, do you have any leaks with the catted Y?
I'm with ya on the sound - much more authoritative.
Notice power improvement yet? My car took a while to adjust - it ran way too rich at first. After around a tankful, though, it adjusted nicely. Now it rips
I'm getting it dyno tuned next Tuesday - hoping for even more!
Congrats on the install. Well worth it.

I haven't put many miles on yet, computer still may be learning? Right now feels a little flat on the low end, but stronger up top?
Catted Y leaks, but I think it is because some of the connections are backwards ( all up stream should slide into the down stream ). Y-collector, reducer, and I pipe are wrong right now. Welding / reworking some of the connections will help, besides all them clamps make it look cobbled up and cheap IMO.
