LTs/ORY or Stall Help me decide.
Well -
i've got a lid on the way and i'm going to port my throttle body and other "free" mods so next should I do
Pacesetter LT's with ORY
or a 3500 stall.

Stall that beeech first. Make sure you have some DRs, at least. Your car won' t sound as good as it will with LTs, but, you' ll gain more at the track, and the street, with a stall.

i'm gonna say headers for a couple reasons:
1.) you get a good SOTP feel, just like a stall
2.) you'll get SOUND, something a stall won't do
3.) you may gain mpg where with a stall you'll likely lose mpg, not that this point matters in the long run if you go both
4.) the biggest reason for going headers first is tuning issues. i doubt you wanna pay for a tune after both mods, so i think it is wiser to get headers first. the stock PCM can adjust to headers by itself and run fine but a stall could really screw you up. your shifts will get soggy and your shift points may be all off. you may have problems shifting into gears completely by some complaints i've heard. a tune after a stall is a must IMO where a tune after headers isn't really necessary, and you want to do the tune as your last mod.
5.) headers will likely be cheaper. with a stall, you should buy a tranny cooler, a shift kit and a trans temp gauge along with installation costs. at least i'd buy a shift kit, cooler and trans temp gauge with my stall if i ever get one.
whatever you get, i hope you're happy in the long run

Some good feedback in here - let me add this to the mix though.
my friend has a 408 Camaro heads / cam / full exhaust / ect which he tunes himself. He's very good at it - does a lot of people's stuff.
so i'm not worried about tuning either way.
All installation is done myself so that isn't really an issue either.
i'm very on the fence here still - stall will be a bit more expensive but I feel as if i'll get a better response from her. While LTs, ORY will give me a better sound which the car needs and be a little cheaper.
Thanks for the indepth response choco.

Having an M6, I have NO IDEA what I am talking about. But yes, the LT's will give you THAT SOUND. BUT, I didnt see anywhere about you having a catback. For the reason that you dont have a catback, Id get a stall. For that FEELING. Then get a Catback, then the LT's and Y. Just my .02 Good luck in whatever you decide. ENJOY

your definitely on the right track with both of those. however, many people will say stall because it will take more off of your 1/4 then the exhaust and in sum cases will be cheaper. But, im gonna go with what i did and thats exhaust ONLY for the reason that i'm under the idea that i wanna get my car breathing right first before i do a stall. 3500 stall is next on my list tho
good luck with the choice, post up how it turns out
p.s., ive never been in a stalled car only cars with exhaust don first so take that into consideration with how much my opinion actually matters.

If I had to pay full price for either I would have chosen the stall. Since I got a good deal on LT and TSP Duals I went that road. Cant complain I love it, havent tested it at the track to see the difference, however I'm pretty sure track wise the stall would have been better. Stall plus DR's that is.

4000+ is all well and good but that means during all your daily driving there is gonna be a lot of slipping in the converter and that means a lot of heat. Yea there is gonna be a tranny cooler but still if you use your car as a DD then I wouldnt rec over 3500
