Default New Catted Y Benefit ???

Howdy! I am looking at getting a new catted y-pipe. Do all aftermarket catted y-pipes have high flow cats? Which brand do you recommend? How much of a benefit will i see with just the new y and a catback (will be a borla or loudmouth)? How much does it cost? Is it worth it?

Thanks! Any other input is greatly appreciated. Im not going to be getting headers for a good while...

save ur money... dont worry about doing high flow cats until u buy headers. use the money u would spend towards the headers

I'm another newbie to this site. Most catted y-pipes are made for headers. SLP sells an off-road y-pipe to replace the stock one but I don't think it's worth it.

yea i jsut noticed the SLP one here

Don't even worry about replacing anything forward of the I-pipe unless you're getting headers. That SLP Y-pipe is not worth it, might gain 2hp at most. Forget about it.

yeah your right it bolts up to the stock cats, other companies do make cat delete Y pipes for the factory manifolds, but really not worth it.
