LTs/ORY/Magnaflow Catback??
I was looking around at what catback system i want to use on the TA and listened to alot on ls1sounds and by what i heard it seems like the magnaflow catback was one of the lowest toned and least poppy/raspy sounding with LTs and ORY. I dont like really loud high pitch poppy/raspy sounding exhaust. Who has magnaflow? Love em? Hate em? How well do they flow compared to the competitors? The tips look pretty nice on them too which is a plus

i've had 3 catback setups with LTs/ORY so far:
Rumbler catback with Sweet Thunder in place of the Dynomax bullet: Extremely f'n loud. Too loud, with no -tone- ... Take your Advil with you for going down the road.
Hooker catback: Great tone, but no bark to it... the inside of the muffler came apart a bit and rattled around. I've heard of this happening a few times with the Hooker.
Magnaflow: My favorite so far... great sound - a bit louder than the Hooker but still low toned inside the car. Stainless steel; looks very nice under the car.

I have the magnaflow, ORY and Kooks LTs. Its a little raspy, but not terrible. I've heard much worse. I like the way it sounds although I do plan on changing it out to a mufflex 3.5" single with a magnaflow muffler and hideaway tip. I hate tips on Camaros and the magnaflow tips are especially haneous.

I absolutely love the setup. I have encountered zero rasp and zero drone. At car shows, lot of people think I have a cam because of the way it sounds. I even like the tips as well.

I have LT's, ORY, and Magnaflow. I love the setup but a few tips. Get most of the catback welded up except for the slip fittings to the LT's and the over the axle fitting. This will really solidify the exhaust and change the tone a bit. Also get a custom y-pipe made if you know someone or pick one with a good merge and that is not made in 6 different pieces. Same thing, I started off with the Magnaflow y-pipe and there was a lot of rasp and mechanical sounding high pitched tone to the exhaust. Didn't sound bad but I got the exhaust welded up and a custom y-pipe and almost all the rasp went away and the exhaust has a much deeper smoother tone to it.
