1.5 " Exhaust lol ...
This is what I foud when I looked under my new car...
Some stupid took off the cats and remplaced with this 1.5 tube. I culd not belive when I saw it.
How much power and fuel economy was losing my car with this tube near from the maniful?
I will fix it this monday.

Looks bigger than 1.5" to me. Header primaries are usually bigger than 1.5". Looks like 2" pipe, and honestly, if the cars mostly stock, I doubt you see any improvement with a larger pipe in its place. Now if you go long tubes, ORY, etc., I could see some gain. What you're probably seeing is 2" pipe thats been bent and crushed, so it looks smaller in the bend.

When I first bought my '94Z (it's gone now) it also had some Midas special exhaust work where the catback had been replaced w/ 2" pipe and some crapass muffler. On top of that it had some H rated tires. Needless to say I bought an air intake and catback and it was quite the SOTP difference.
