I had a Qtech and it never lasted more than a few months at a time.
First time it broke I sent it back and paid to have it fixed (it broke in warranty but I was relocating and did not get to sending it off till after warranty was up) Second time it broke which was again after a month or two, I took it apart replace some stripped screws and put lock tite, it help for a week or so and it fell apart again. I called qtec and they said sure we will fix it, ship it back again, pay shipping, and pay for repairs. So I said screw it and chunked it in the garbage where it belonged.
The main problem was a poor design. The electric motor kept falling off of the assemble. Also there is a shaft from the motor assembly that went through to the butterfly flap that has some set screws, one stripped so i drilled it through and put a bolt and nut with lock tite and it held
If I ever do it again I would try the DMH it looks better built from what I have seen.
