Default corsa muffler question help please

I just put on a corsa rear section with tail pipes and the 3.5 inch doubble tips on my 02 ws6.....the muffler sounds real good nice and deep....except when you rev it up around 1000 rpm to 2200 rpm it sounds like a heat sheild on a catylic convertor is rattling but the sound is inside the muffler....is it supposed to sound that way???i know my borla set up on my camaro didnt...

I've had corsa on my car since early '01 and never had a problem - still looks brand new. Is it used? Only reason I ask is a couple years ago some people had problems with the welds or something coming apart inside. If new and installed correctly call them.

Don't know, look around their website. Thinking it's warranted to the original owner only but not sure, guess they'd sell you a muffler only, but not sure on that either. Make whoever you bought it from make it right.

The person that sold it to you used probably knew about the problem

corsa's system has a lifetime warranty doesn't it? if you call them, they should just ship you a new muffler. $850 exhaust systems tend to come with good warranties, at least we can hope.

Corsa will only warranty the original owner or if your lucky enough to purchase one with a receipt of the original purchase included. I bought a new Corsa off Ebay for $200. It began rattling like described about a year later. Corsa would not warranty it as I was not the original buyer. I replaced it with a Hooker Aerochamber. Flows great and sounds awesome.
