How to tell if you have a 98-99 throttle body or a 00-02

the only think that is different is the part that the throttle cable loops around. atleast thats all i know of. So i guess you could put it on your car and see if it goes WOT when you hit that gas. And I mean by looking at the blade, not by actually running it.

I put my buddies old 00' tb on my 99' without realizing there was a difference. After hooking up the cable the blade would not shut completely. Swapped the shafts and it was fine.

Ive never seen a red spring 
, silver/blue for Fbody and orange for trucks is all I have seen. The blue spring is the tighter wound 00-04 spring and the silver spring is a looser wound spring found on the 98-99.
