Default Ruining o2 sensors?

ok so im going to be installing some pacesetter long tubes and a catted tsp y pipe next weekend and i am reading everything i can about it. Ive read that some of the ceramic coating on the headers burns off during the break in and kills the o2 sensors. Does this happen all the time or is it just something to look out for? I dont wanna be stuck without sensors for a week if they do go out but there a lil expensive to have just in case...

so is it worth it to buy a backup pair or should i just hope for the best and save the cash?

Never had a problem with mine when I had pacesetters. I wouldn't worry about it at all.

The Bosch 13111 O2 sensors are where it's at. If you get a set of those, you won't even need O2 extensions. Do a little research on them.

BTW - That link is the best price for them I've ever seen.

NP! I have a set on mine, I think the gas mileage went up a *slight* bit, but don't quote me.

Yes they work the same. The 13111's have a more powerful heater, and it helps out with all the heat loss you experience with LT headers.
