I want to keep the car with the stealth approach. Presently the car has a stock exhaust. After the head cam upgrade the exhaust is badly in need of upgrading. The plan is for QTP's, catted Y, and SLP dual/dual. Any recommendation where to find them? Lately the only ones I've seen are pretty hacked up.

I doubt a large non straight thru muffler really flows as well as it would go against the laws of physics and fluid dynamics. However yes you should see a small gain on a stock car. Probably 5-10rwhp. On a more extreme setup you will likely see much higher gains.

I want the dual/dual but SLP doesn't make them anymore. I know the kit I list has two pipes exiting on the drivers side (don't like the look) but curious if the systems flow the same. The used dual / dual's I've seen are either over priced or hacked up.

ive got a dual/dual setup id be willing to sell for about.....3k
naah but seriously you should just keep your eye on the for sale section. I love how the dual/dual is pretty quiet but not too quiet in my opinion. I just cant wait to get long tubes on it. Then it should be absolute perfection!
BTW: if you really want the exhaust ill let it go for $2500

The 2OTL is much louder than the Dual Dual. I would love to get my hands on a DD too. I currently run the stock Z28 exhaust with a cut-out but it is only 2.75" and my Y is 3.5". So quite a bottle neck.

the muffler on the dual dual looks like the one in post #12 in this thread. if the muffler doesn't look exactly like that, it's not a dual dual
