The Sound of a Stang
I can respect the look and "power" of a mustang. but what i really like is their sound. I would never own a ford im all GM, but how do i get my t/a to sound like a mustang. You all know that sound, i heard true duals can get me there but from the clips ive heard i dont think so. i have lt headers no cats 3 inch y and all the way back to a magnaflow...ideas guys?

Bottom line is you won't be able to duplicate the sound because there are too many differences between the two engines.
I've had the dual exhaust with an x-pipe, and trust me, it sounds NOTHING like a Mustang. However it does sound good....just way too loud. I had the duals from Lane with the 14" Magnaflow Magnapacks in it...still way too loud and unrefined.
I'm a Hooker leghumper now...

I know how to make your LS1 sound better than a Crustang...
Add a twin turbo kit exhaling through open downpipes. Here's a soundclip.
