Default Pics, is this a good true dual set-up??

I told the guy to fab me an H-pipe set-up and this is what he came up with. It doesnt really look like the traditional H set up im used to seeing on here, but it sounds good and the car def pulls harder now. See any flaws in the design?

Looks pretty good to me. As long as you are happy with it thats all that matters! Ground clearance looks good also.

OK good, my only concern was that the pipes dont turn outwards soon enough like most other H-pipe designs ive seen. This goes into an the H design and the the pipes kind of gradually spread outwards to the tips. So I guess I shouldnt worry about getting enough back pressure.

Yup DEF happy with it, its suprisingly tame at cruise when I want it to be but then opens up NICELY at WOT. Here is a clearance pic at its lowest point, too bad im gona lower the front an inch soon.

Dude that looks great IMO. How did it work out going over each side? Not many people I've seen run that except the orange moderator. Any sound clips?

Thanks, the labor ran me $488 and he had it done in less than a day. Everything was fabbed from scratch except the cats and mufflers. I wanted to go 3'" all the way through, but the place I ordered the mufflers through F'd up and I didnt want to wait any longer

[Quotel Phoenix 5.7, ooks great except for that rusty rear end]
Tell me about it, that puny thing looks HORRIBLE, cant wait to get the 12 bolt in, then ill actully be able to use this power w/o worrying

That looks real good. And that labor price seems on the cheap side too, espacially for an over the axle setup like that. Nice!

The exhaust fabricators concerns were clearing the fuel sensors, (I believe thats what he said they were) in the fourth pic of the first post. And trying to avoid smashing in the floor board to make room for ground clearance. Apparently he did both. I didnt see the work till I got it home and looked under the car, so I didnt ask him too many specific questions. I have a digi camera but im not quite sure how to post sound clips yet, ill get it done when I have some more free time.
.
I wana thank bspz28 the Eastern Moderator here who pointed me in the direction of this shop

Looks good, but the reason it's so cheap is those are not mandrel bends, which basically no muffler shop can do. The $$ setups are fabbed from pre-mandrel bent pipe that all has to be ordered and fabbed to fit.

Get a dual hpipe and dump it right before the axle with turn downs. nothing is better than realy dusting your competition lol. i went with 2.5 inch piping on my duals i like the sound i have.

Im not too concerned about that, being I took out my rear seats. But I will test it out and see how close it gets when someone is in the drivers seat. I havn't heard anything rattling or unusual yet, and ive driven it a few hundred miles so far.

i tell you a safe way to do it would be the same way engine builders check PTV clearence. put a wad of clay on your axle and drive it over a bump pretty hard and see how much it compresses it between the exhaust.
