Default underdrive worth it?

Well, I need a new balancer as it is, to get the pulliest to all line up with eachother, is it worth the money to spend on an underdrive or am I better off spending the money elsewhere?

I've been wondering about this too, i'm gonna do a cam swap soon and am on a budget but plan on a ported throttle body and a UD pulley, probably not gonna do a LS6 intake due to cost. I figure since you gotta take the stock pulley off for a cam swap might as well put a new UP pulley back on, no work involved. I am just trying to figure out gains and how it will, if any, effect my AC, heat and stereo....

I saw a 7 rwhp gain with my underdrive pulley.
So if you need one anyway go for the underdrive crank pulley.

Yes, its worth it. A crank pulley will get you around 6-10 rwhp. It is a good addition when sticking a new cam in there because you have to pull all that stuff apart anyway when swaping cams.

BTW for what it is worth...I bought the MARCH...with both belts....great pulley GREAT price with both belts...HOWEVER>>>>>>> it is a PITA to remove if you ever have to!!!
I am dreading the day when it comes to swap my cam...
Go for an ASP...and save yourself the aggrivation
(not offense to March, nice product, just poor removal design)

What is wrong with the crank pulley you have on there again? I mean if you are going to go to the trouble to take it off, might as well pick up a nice aftermarket one.
