Corsa sound profile: Video inside
Well guys, it seems as if a lot of people here ask about the sound of particular exhaust systems. As we all know perception of these systems is 100% subjective.
But I have decided to post a video of my 01 SS with Hotcam, LTs, gutted cats and Corsa exhaust. It demonstrates interior and exterior sound, idle, acceleration ....
Personally I think it's pretty lound, and I'd rather it'd be a bit more tame. However, I get quite a bit of positive feedback on the sound

Thanks guys! Yepp, those neighbors aren't exactly what you would call car enthusiasts, if you know what I mean.
I think I will either put some cats back in or add a bullet in the I pipe in order to get rid of most of that rasp. It isn't nearly as bad as my LM, but still not quite right.
If I could make it happen I'd have it sound like a ModMotor through Flowmaster. Well, can't have everything I guess... at the end of the day I'll always choose performance over sound!

Well, we actually are behaving like good neighbors these days. It's pretty much quiet after 10 pm, the speed limit does not get challenged in a 2 block perimeter and so on. Somehow, we remain a thorn in the eyes of those suburban *****! It's their kids who speed through the neighborhood and blast annoying music in the middle of the night.
Ultimately I think those people are jealous of our freedom and our laissez faire attitude, as the now fat husbands had their nuts cut off 20 years ago by their wifes and now they long for what we have.

I basically have the same setup but with high-flow cats. I think mine's a little tamer on decelleration and at WOT, but still very close. So I'd say that Cats will quiet it down a bit. I get a lot of positive comments on the sound as well.
