Default what is the best sounding exhaust

i just bought a 00 trans am 6 speed and was woundering what after market exhaust and headers would sound the best. i am personally looking for the set up that has the deep smooth sound, not so much loud as deep.

I can see by your post count that you are new here, so welcome to the site and congrats on the new car. Nice to see you posting in the external engine forum, and your question is one that has been asked, argued over, and answered many times over. Do a search in this forum and read all about different exhaust setups, and def. check out LS1sounds.com. After that, let us know a little bit about how much money that you want to spend and what kind of future mods you may consider and we will try to help you out. If you need to have cats to pass emissions, then that will also affect your choice. Most people agree that a true dual setup is the best sounding for our cars, but there are some nice cat-back setups that also sound great (its all a matter of opinion). Good luck!

B&B Tri Flow, even if you don't have the $$$, buy it used. Tips fill out the bumper great and it sounds badass. Also, not too many people have it on here...I'll be donating my sound clips/pics to ls1sounds.com as well because theres only like two.

Good Luck,
J-WS6

This thread will have no ending....so it will be here. Just listen to them in person and judge for yourself. www.ls1sounds.com will give you nothing compared to what you will hear standing beside it.
