Default Z06 Manifolds for 02 Camaro

Does anyone know if the Z06 exhaust manifolds fit the 02 F-Bodys? Will it work with our y-pipe.

I have the STS kit and it works better with cast iron manifolds because they hold in heat better.

Im sorry I didnt read you sig

Might want to try either honed out stock manifold folds, or some shorty headers

Talk to some of the High Hp STS guys in the FI part of the forum for more help, hope this helps you

Ok Ive looked around, and I agree since ive always owned turbo cars

Take your exhaust piping and have it cermic coated, and if you want you can also heat wrap the whole exhaust....

Get your stock manfolds honed out, or Just have the COATED INSIDE AND OUT

You could go with shorties, but long tubes isnt a good idea at all!

FYI just have the whole exhaust from the headers back to the turbo cermic coated it will help with spool

Thanks for doing the research for me I kinda wonder if the cast iron manifolds hold heat better than the JBA Stainless and Ceramic shorties.

Stock headers should hold in the heat better, becasue they are thicker just make sure you cemric coat wich ever ones you end up suing

Have them coated, and to save some cash use some high temp paint on the exhaust, and Wrapped the entire piping etc

The paint will help hold in heat, and the wrap will also help seal in as much heat as possable wich will help with spool
