Is the price difference Justifiable? You can get Hookers for $429 while Kooks cost around $800. Even the coated Hookers go for $640 or something like that.

don't you dare get uncoated hookers. either buy coated, or go stainless.
kooks are top of the line, plus you're getting stainless steel. both will yield basically the same gains. the question is, do you want to spend $640 on coated or spend another $160 for stainless? IMO, you're already spending $640, what's another $160? the extra $160 will ensure your headers last basically forever. go stainless at this point IMO.

Uncoated headers arent that bad although i currently have slp lt's which are ceramic coated stainless steel. I have had several sets on other stuff down here in TX and they outlast my interest in the vehicle, plus, if it takes 7 or 8 years for them to rust out, imagine how beat to **** they are gonna be from road abuse. Time for new ones anyway. As far as your question goes.......you get what you pay for. Kooks and QTP's with the HVMC are top of the line. Period. These are max effort headers that will give you every horsepower you are going to get from adding headers to your engine.

If the steel Hooker last another 3-4 years I would be happy to spend only $429. Its half the price of Kooks. The most improtant thing for me is power gains and if both produce the same gains then im fine with steel.

I bought the Hooker uncoated headers... Im going to spray with with antirust treatment. I dont care if i have to change headers every two to three years. Thats fine with me. One wheelie could ruin the best headers out there so why get the most expenisve thing out there if there is a risk of a wheelie in the horizon

i hate it when people make purchases based on dollar signs. you get what you pay for, remember that
