Post any pics of True Dual cars that are lowered...
thinking about going with lowering and a new true dual setup i was wanting to see what people already had out there and how much ground clearance they have with TD's and being lowered. please list how low it's lowered & what springs.

I don't have any pics of the old set up, but with the Eibach Pro kit and my true dual set up, I hit on a lot of stuff. The curbs in sub divisions are painful. Biggest area that scrapes is the actual X and right off the collector on the drivers side.
I now have QA1's on the front and a 9 in that lifts the rear a little over the stock 10 bolt. I'm going to put the stock springs back in the rear.
It's tough for me. I love the way the car looks lowered but I also love the TD's sound... I think I'll just get a vette and have the best of both worlds.... Or something like that anyway...

I dumped in front of the axle with dual 3in. My prokit only lowered the car 1 1/4 to 1 1/2" all around. I would really like to try something like the art work that Kooks made that is in the sticky. May be worth the drive.... hum?

I scrape stock exhaust sometimes, but I'm lowered 2 inches. I couldn't imagine how bent up my exhaust would be if I had true duals. A 2 in lowered f-body with 3 in true dual exhaust would be for track only, it would be a pain to drive that around town. IMO of course.

The second pic is with my QA1's raised up a little more than normal. I was playing around with them trying to help with weight transfer. (didn't seem to help having it up a little... )
Also, in the second pic, I have 27" tall MT ET Streets on the car. This raises the car a little as well in the back. The first pic is with MT DR's.
I'll try to get some pics of how low the exhaust hangs from the sides and back to give you a better idea.

QA1's on the front just under stock height. Eibach Pro Kit springs on the rear with a 9 in rear so it's just under stock height as well.
The TD was fabbed up by a local shop. 3 in all the way back.

I'm lowered about 2" with TD's over the axle. Clearance is an issue but no more than the shitty Y pipe I had. I'm still working out the angles at which to take things with the new exhaust but overall it seems a little better, and the sound is well worth it.
I could have had better clearance if I went with 2.5" but since I have bigger plans for this car I decided on 3" so I don't have a restriction later on (anyone who says dual 3" is "too much" exhaust is wrong because I picked up power everywhere, even down low). Clearance will be an issue no matter what if you're lowered, it just depends how much you can live with. I just learned how to drive my car and be aware of my surroundings so it wasn't really a problem.
