Default Aluminium exhaust, can it be done? and negtive things?

I have never heard of a aluminium exhaust before, and i know it can be welded and such, but is aluminium good for exhausts?
Negtive things?
Postive things(light weight)?

used to have it on my contour. Its ok for a few years it rusts faster than SS. However it is alot cheaper. yes it can be done you just need clamps or an alu rig.

Titanium would be the way to go.

How many race cars have aluminum headers?

It would be too malleable at exhaust temperatures and dent/bend. You would have to make it so thick, that you could do it in Ti for cheaper.
