Default Cmmg Cat Back

Who has one and do you like it? I currently have a Magnaflow. Is it worth changing to the CMMG for addtional power?

Go to LS1 sounds and listen for yourself!! I love mine. I also have had a Slowmaster that sounded fine but was very restrictive. Then I had the SLP Loudmouth which I still like. Actually made my smaller cam sound alot meaner than my GMMG. The GMMG quieted things down a small amount but got rid of some of the rasp I had. Made my cam sound as small as it is. I like em both.

if money isn't an issue, then yeah get the GMMG, system sounds great on stock manifolds and then even better with longtubes.

I wouldn't waste your money. Magniflow is great. I've heard GMMG with manifolds + cats and it was extremely quiet. Not much if any Hp gain either to be had either.

magnaflow sounded too quiet for me but it had a nice tone. i like noise and thats why gmmg got my business. The tips don't look great by comparison to others that are out there, but they work. The build quality of the system is topnotch.

Ive been listening to a lot of exausts lately..and its really dissapointing how many cars sound like big honking trucks rather than cars...

I love my dual dual and Im going to miss it when I move to my TD system in two weeks....

To my ears....in terms of quality sound...a full 5X6X24 muffler is the way to go and of those "Full sized mfflers" My ranking for quality sound not out right noise from best to Ok

Dual Dual
Bassani
Dymomax Ultra Flows
And Sometimes Magnaflow depending on your set up

the gmmg sounds really good at WOT but its too loud, and at part throttle i think its almost as loud as full throttle in my A4, so it gets annoying, i think a hooker or magnaflow is in my future...

GMMGs are way overpriced, Magnaflow is a much better value, stainless steel, and sounds more refined, not as loud. There's not going to be much of a power difference.
