Default broken oil pressure sending unit

yea, i broke mine, where can i get a new one and how much do they run for??

autozone, kragen, napa costs about $40 + need a special socket to install.
The GM p/n is 12562267 and it's $31 at gmpartsdirect. com. I bought the socket from kragen it was $10 it was a powerbuilt brand made for the oil sending unit and o2 sensors, it was the longest one. Good luck

well we dont have a kragen in il, but whats the equivelant to that store wise??

kragen is the same as checkerauto, i believe checker ownes kragen stores. Good luck

Interesting post over on CF, GM made a change from brass to aluminum bodies on the unit and that's when problems began. You might want to check aftermarket and see what is available. There have been a rash of problems with these on the Corvettes lately.
