Underdrive Pulley Owners???
Ok this is pretty much the last bolt on that I could think of but dont know much about them... so....
Do they cause any problems?
Does the stock alt pulley work well enought or is the overdrive pulley needed?
What brands would you recomend?
Could you tell a difference?
Does anyone have a before and after dyno graph after swaping one out?
Was it worth your time? (probably still get one though if you did not care for it)

I dont have them yet but I plan on it.
1.) No unless you have an A4 car and udnerdrive the alt then you may have charging issues
2.) it should be fine but you can get the voerdrive if you want
3.) ASP or SLP
4.) People say its a little gain not much but can help rev quicker
5.) normally like 5-10ish hp
6.) its a quick 30 min mod so either way its a quick last thing to do bolt on

wasnt worth it to me but might be because i did the electric water pump first, and it free'd up alot. didnt notice the ud pulley, but might rev faster..
have fun on the install might be a pita depending on how good your pulley bolts tightened.

1. No issues
2. No problems
3. Stock alt pully is fine unless you have a big stereo system
4. March, Powerbond or SLP. Avoid the ASP they had belt slippage issues.
5. No seat of pants difference. Dyno showed increase.
6. Gained 12rwhp & 12rwtq (last mod added) already had cam in.
7. Defenitly a worthwhile and worth the $ mod.

I have the ASP with no problems of it slipping off, even on the nitrous it hasn't come off. 6,000 miles on the pulley so far. I haven't noticed any charging problems as mentioned above, maybe I got lucky.

ASP is a great product, and I have to say that the car does rev a little faster, and just like the other members said, it doesn't add to the "throw-back-in-your-seat" factor. My belt has never slipped, and I have had ZERO problems with it.
Good luck!

>> Do they cause any problems?
Not usually, only with cars with high-power stereo systems, or other electrical draw.
>> Does the stock alt pulley work well enought or is the overdrive pulley needed?
Overdrive alt pulley only needed if you have a large aftermarket stereo system. For a stock system it isn't.
>> What brands would you recomend?
ASP, March, Powerbond, SLP are all popular brands. Personally I used the ASP without trouble, but I heard the powerbond/SLP is just as good.
>> Could you tell a difference?
Not by itself, but it makes a difference in the long run, with all the other mods it adds up.
>> Does anyone have a before and after dyno graph after swaping one out?
At home I have a graph, iirc it showed a gain of 10 rwhp 10 rwtq, I can post it later.
>> Was it worth your time?
IMO yes. Lots of people do it at the same time as cam, since the stock pulley has to come off anyway, but I did mine as part of full boltons, and I would probably do it again.

Had them on my 94 V-6 Camaro and I could tell a difference with them over the stock pullies. I also had them on my 95 z-28 when it had the LT-1 in it, but I don't know if it made a difference. The reason I don't know that is I never drove the car without them. I put them and a few other mods on it before I ever drove it. I had to do an engine change when I got the car so I put some mods on at that time.
Didn't have any issues with either car. Just had to rev the car sometimes in bumper to bumper traffic to keep the volts up.

not positive why you cant use it with a double roller i just remember my buddy pulling a slp one of and i wanted to buy it and he said it wouldnt work because i was gonna run the double...hence the reason he took it off anyways. i trust him 100% asp makes slp pulleys from what i remember
