Default quick intake question

Hey guys. I dont have alot of $ but I would like a new intake manifold to replace the LS1 I have currently. My buddy says I should get a FAST intake but that seems extreme for me.
All I have is lid, bellow, descreened MAF, headers (not installed yet), and Borla. I dont think Ill ever put a cam in or use Nitrous. Just boltons and when I get the headers installed Im going to get HPE to dyno-tune my car.
What do you guys recomend would be a good manifold for the money.
Your 2 cents is welcome and appreciated. Thank You.

The LS6 is good for about 8-10 rwhp. Let me know if you are interested Im putting on the Fast 90/90 this week and will be selling my LS6 manifold and SLP throttle body.

yeah the ls6's are around 300 used and go pretty quick. You just need to watch the for sale section like a hawk and you'll find one. I was looking for a used FAST intake for sale in there and after about a week or two I got one. Keep in mind there are far more LS6's that go up for sale than FAST's. Also with the mods you have and no intention to ever cam it then you're right...a FAST is overkill. I would combine the LS6 with a ported throttle body for an extra $100 or so. You can find them in the for sale section and they're usually on ebay too.

Like I said, plenty of opportunities to pick up a used LS6. If you need a ported TB I have one I could sell you.

Lid+P/P TB+FTRA or SSRA+LS6 Intake should be good for 20-25+hp....not bad for some simple bolt ons....

LS6 is a great mod, you can always sell it for what you paid in the future.

ls6 is a great foundation for mods, it will just add more power as you mod more. Definately the FAST is overkill for your situation, I'd get the ls6 intake and don't think twice.

Exactly, thats why I just got one. I eventually want the fast but i just cant justify spending an $1000 for it right now. So when i can afford the fast i'll just sell the ls6 for at least what i paid for it.
