Default weird noise??

hey guys! Ive got this weird noise that seems like its under the car. its not a vibration but a funky noise. I only hear it when idling. I know its hard to determine what it could be with my description, (lack of) but it sounds like its coming near the gear shift(A4) underneath. Who knows just thought id try and see if you guys could help. Kinda bothersome. TIA

i would jack it up and start it and get under there and listen.is it a stock tranny ? if so it may be going south. you can always pull the pan to see if there is any shavings in there and then do a fluid and filter change. hopefully that is not your problem, maybe something just came loose or something.

What was I listening for? Becuase I didn't hear much until you put it in gear and then I just heard a faint high pitched banging, not too unlike the sound my duals make hitting the bottom of my car, which is why I asked if you have poly mounts? What point in the video should I listen more carefully?

Gotcha, well to me, at least, it really sounds like something is banging from underneath. I didn't hear much else that seemed out of the ordinary to me... Maybe someone else can better diagnose it?
