Their Y-pipe indeed is a pain in the *** puzzle, but it flows and scavenges extremely well because of the flowmaster merge collector. Have a good shop install it well and it will give decent clearance.

I'm running their catted Y.
I spent a great deal of time adjusting it to fit correctly but still tapped my driver-side cat pulling into the parking lot at school.
From my knowledge I hit the cat TWICE since I had the Y ...
The cats are now gutted because in August (didn't even have it for 3 months) the driver-side cat blew out and clogged my exhaust.
So guess who had to buy a new catback.
Take your money and get someone to fab a Y, I wouldn't buy QTP's.

I have a QTP Offroad Y.
I had to adjust it several times before I got it just right, and I welded everything in place because it leaked, especially at the collector.
Now that I have it in place, it does flow quite well, and I have no clearance issues.
Bottom line is that its a pain in the @ss to install, but works well once you have it done right.

The qtp pipe is more work to install.. but make a 3 inch Y and have it clear everythign and not hang too low withotu being a sectioned Y like theirs... is not gonna happen.
It's one of the best Y pipes out there, they've been tested and proven to make more power then most.
That being said, you get a little added hassle from the sections of pipe having to come together right, deal with it!
