Who cares about bolting up when you can weld pipe into place? The question still stands, will a pair of LS2 exhaust manifolds clear everything in the lower part of the engine bay? I know they will bolt up to the heads, no question there. I just need to know if they will clear the lower half, especially the steering shaft.

LS2 exhaust manifolds from a 6.0 GTO which I have in my possession already
Corvette LS1 exhaust manifolds
As I already have the LS2 6.0 manifolds from my last car and I need to pull the LT's on my 2000 Camaro, I'll give it a shot and find out for myself.
My reasoning behind wanting to do the LS2 manifolds is very simple, I live in California and am not doing the "smog hook-up" **** anymore, I don't care if they flow better or the same as the stock LS1 manifolds or not as good as the LT's I have now. It's about having a stock manifold that I don't have to have AIR/EGR block off plates on, those things throw red flags to a smog station. Plus there is no sticker on the fender showing AIR and EGR lines should be on it, so if everything looks stock with no block off plates it shouldn't get a look of doubt.

'00-'02 LS1 manifolds are not bad and about as cheap as
dirt. '00 lets you keep EGR intact, '01-'02 would need the
blind boss drilled & a fitting added.
JBA shorties have a CARB EO and bolt up to stock plumbing.
I've not been looking at alternates in years, back then the
Edelbrock ones claimed to be EO'd but you could not find
a number on CARB's list. It took me a lot of waiting before
I found a pair of JBAs under $250 used, what the situation
looks like today I couldn't say.
To use GTO manifolds I expect you'd want a GTO factory Y
and Frankenstein a combo GTO (front), Camaro (back) pipe.
And I don't see a lot to gain from all that work vs. spending
maybe $20 on boneyard logs good to go.

I do understand want your trying to do , but like I said before the vette manifolds aren't going to work. This is my suggestion is to try TrailBlazer / Envoy manifolds they are rear dump , or 2014 Z28 tri Y manifolds . These have the best chance to work.
