I had some guy say that magnaflow was the K-mart of Exhaust! LOL What do you think about that! I told him he was crazy!

What a dumb f**k, Magnaflow is one of the best cat-backs out on the market, i should know cuss i have one. I love the quiet deep tone when your just crusing, but it roars when you slam on the gas.

I just got rid of my 2 chamber flowmaster this week for a Magnaflow muffler. I have no cats and SLP y-pipe and it was instantly noticeable on start up on the sound difference. I had rasp before with the no cats and flowmaster, but no with the Magnaflow there is no more rasp. It is alot quieter as well from start up to cruising speed and you can actually have a conversation in the car now.

hmm me personally I considered a lot of exhausts and did my best to listen to as many as possible. and think for quality/sound vs. price, magnaflow is a good exhaust, but it's common and not very special IMO.. just stainless pipes and a muffler. and the tips suck.
waited a year and a half before i got the GMMG in the ls1tech group purchase for 600. which IMO is a good deal. I actually ran a magnaflow muffler for that time frame. but GMMG was always my favorite.. so i was just repping it as a joke.
however, magnaflow is NOT gmmg by any means in terms of design and sound. so yeah. but it is pricey for 750 with standard tips. so magnaflow for sub-380 looks appealing..

Since I have a MagnaFlow system on both my vehicles I think I should chime in here. In my opinion there is only (1) drawback to the MagnaFlow systems in general......The tubing is 409 Stainless will develop a light surface rust which stops corrosion through the metal so it doesn't look pretty. I have a system mated with Stainless Works Long-tubes (304 Stainless) on my Silverado and could not be happier with quality and sound. Because the system will develop some rust/corrosion it can be hard to adjust/remove once clamped and driven for a period of time. The sound is amazing with the headers. Very deep and powerful under throttle and tame under cruising. I am over the obnioxious exhaust tone and I feel this is the system to get. For my truck, I am even considering adding (1) 4" round MagnaFlow muffler on each tailpipe as an added sound deadening. They are straight though design so no power loss should be felt but should quiet it down some for my daily driver. Well worth the money in my opinion.

I just got mine from the WS6 Store, and for the money, it can not be beat. Fine quality, easy install, great sound, and it even looks good from the back. Every thing is relative, but for the money, it's a great value.
