i called LG last week about this. it IS going to be mass produced but its under delays now. i cant remember the guys name i talked with but he told me it should be out around summer/late summer this year.
he also told me that they are making headers for f-bodys to match also.
*i'm not spitting out any prices but i will say what he told me was VERY GOOD.

LG is an extremely busy shop. 99% of thier stuff is focused on Y-bodies. Ever since the discontinuation of the Fbody Lou made the decision to move to what was still available. For us, it stings. but it was a good business decision.
LG is also an extremely competative road racer and is on the road from april to sept for the WC events.
I have been hassling Louis for the better parts of 3 or 4 years now on Fbody headers (and a K-member) and it just takes time. Not only that but the shop could stand to loose lots of cash if they produce Fbody stuff that no one buys. Where as the market on Y body parts is much larger there is less risk for them.
It will show up, just dont hold your breath. But it will be worth it when you see it.

I have followed this since early last Fall. I also recently contacted LG for a release update. I thought that the system was originally supposed to start shipping in December ’06 or January ’07. I want to finish my car and get it tuned so I ended up ordering a stainless Bassani dual system. It is 2.5” as opposed to LG’s supposed 3”, but 2.5” is plenty for my car. Still, it will be interesting to see LG’s system if it is ever released.
