Default Getting Dip Stick Back In~?

As stupid as i sound, i cant get my dip stick back in. I have no clue where to slid it EXACTLY back in at!


Help please

You just have to be at the right angle and you'll see the hole it went in...find the bolt hole on the head that it attached to, and follow the imaginary line down to the block. You'll see it...sometimes it helps to have someone underneath to guide it in.

A flashlight shined in about the middle of the block on that side from the top should show you where it is...the hole will be staring right at you. There isn't anything else that looks even close to being able to take the dipstick...just look at it while standing along the passenger side fender.

You just have to hold your mouth right.

Like Meent said, get someone underneath there and it'll drop right in. It's kind of a pain to do it by yourself. Ask me how I know...

i usually poke around for a minute or two before i get underneath and line it up... then it slides right in..

i had my wife hold it while i got it lined up from underneath, i found it to be hard as hell without help.

My problem was i didnt no where it whent. And i couldnt see from my stadning view. So was just jamin it down there...

f*ck yeah it does... i spent 30 min. with a buddy trying to get a dipstick in for my tranny on my 89 RS POS daily driver!!!
